Shipping and delivery policy

This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer and has not been signed off by the founder. It is published so the pages that link to it are not dead, and it describes what abhi becho actually does — but it is not final, and it must not be relied on as the terms in force until this banner is gone.
abhi becho is hyperlocal. The only thing delivered through the platform is a grocery order, and the shop you ordered from delivers it. Nothing is couriered, nothing crosses the country, and two of the three things you can do here involve no delivery at all.
Grocery orders — the shop delivers
Your order is delivered by the shop itself, by its own people. You only see shops that serve your pincode, so every delivery is a local trip. The shop prepares your order and brings it to the address you chose at checkout.
Delivery time
We do not promise a platform-wide delivery window, because delivery is done by each shop and their capacity differs. You can watch your order move in the app — placed, accepted, packed, out for delivery, delivered — live, as it happens. If an order sits unaccepted or undelivered for long enough that you want out, the refund and cancellation policy says exactly what you can do.
Delivery charges
There is no separate shipping or delivery charge on abhi becho today. The total you confirm at checkout is the total you pay.
Delivery areas
Deliveries happen within the pincodes a shop has chosen to serve. If no shop serves your pincode yet, you will not see a storefront to order from — we would rather show you nothing than take an order nobody will deliver.
If a delivery fails
If you are not available or the shop cannot complete the delivery, coordinate with the shop through the order screen. An order that cannot be delivered can be cancelled, and money comes back the way the refund and cancellation policy describes.
Used goods and rentals are never shipped
Used-goods sales and rentals are arranged between you and the other person, in person. The platform does not ship, courier, insure or transport anything for those deals, and it never holds the money for them. Meet locally, inspect before you pay, and keep the conversation on the app.
